August Wrap Up & September TBR!!!

Hey guys! It's Emma! Today, I have my August wrap up and September TBR for you guys. In the month of August, I read two books. I planned to read more, but school decided that wasn't happening. As a result, I'm a little behind on my Goodreads goal for this year. And by a little behind I mean 9 books. Anyways, let's get started.
The first book I read in August was A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro. I gave this book a 4 out of 5 stars. I found this book very interesting. All of the detective work and Sherlock Holmesness of this story kept me on the edge of my seat. I did have one or two problems with this story, but you can read more about those in my review of this book.
The second book I read in August was P.S. I Like You by Kasie West. I gave this book a 5 out of 5 stars. This story was definitely adorable with it's chaos and song lyrics. The main character, Lily, was so sassy that she made me laugh a few times. Her family was so chaotic in this book and all I could think about when I read about their home life was, "Good God! That is my family!" Highly recommend this book!
Now it's time for the TBR portion of this post! This section always makes me laugh because half of the time I never even read what I put on this list. Anyways, I pan to read 4 books in the month of September. I do have a little more time to read this month because I have my wisdom teeth taken out later this week and I get a few days of for that. I also, have fall break at the end of this month so that gives me a few free days to read.
The first book I plan to read this month is Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen. This book follows Sydney as she deals with the arrest of her brother, Peyton, and moving to a new school. I mainly wanted to read this book because I read a Sarah Dessen book last year and wanted to read another one. I have already started this book. I'm about 100 pages into it and oh my Lord, I love it so far!
The second book I plan to read is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling. I honestly don't think I have to give a synopsis for this book because everyone knows about Harry Potter. I read this series back in like 5th Grade and when I saw that this was the weekend Harry's kids left for Hogwarts, I was like, "Emma, you will re-read this series and you will re-read it now." So now, I'm reading Harry Potter. This time I'm also listening to the audio book of this series to help me get through this series faster. I started this book on Friday and I'm already on Chapter 11.
The third book I plan to read is Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling. This is the second book of the Harry Potter series and last time I read the series it was my favorite book. Obviously, you guys already know why I'm reading this book so I'm not going to state it again.
The fourth book I plan to read this month is The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh. This book takes place in a kingdom where the king takes a bride each night only to have her killed by the next morning. Shahrzad is chosen as the king's next bride and tries to stay alive and not fall for the king. This duology has been on my TBR for a long time. Finally, I both books and I can't wait to read the first book this month.
That is all I have for you guys today! I hope you enjoyed my post. I have a book review coming later this week so look for that.
