May TBR

Hi guys! It's Emma! Today, I am talking about my May TBR. (Yes, I know it's almost mid-May) So, this month I plan to read 4 books. I thought this was pretty good estimate because school ends at the end of May. Plus, I've started all these book so, that makes it easier.
The first book on my list is Before You Meet Prince Charming by Sarah Mally. My mom and manager at work recommended this book to me. Since I work at a Christian book store, I can check out books to read and bring them back when I'm done. That's how I got this book to read. This book is about a princess who learns to grow in Christ while waiting for her husband. I'm about half way through this book and so far I really like it. Sarah Mally incorporates the story of the princess with lessons that go along with what the princess is learning. I can't wait to read the rest of this book and see where it goes.
The second book I'm reading is Weekend Warrior by Fern Michaels. This book follows a group of ladies who have been done wrong by the American justice system and they are ready for revenge. This book is the first book in the Sisterhood Series by Fern Michaels. I was supposed to be reading this series with my mom, but she read ahead of me by like 6 books. I have read the first two chapters of this book and this book starts of with bang. So far this book is hilarious and I love it so much. I can't wait to see what these characters do next. My mom said the characters kick it into another gear in this book. I think I'm ready to see.
The third book I plan to read this month is Buried by C.J. Carmichael. This is the first book in the Twisted Cedar Mysteries. This book follows Dougal, a true crime writer, as he tries to write his next. One night, Dougal gets an anonymous email about a series of murders of librarians in Oregon in the 1970s. As he attempts to peace together the mystery, it leads him back to his hometown and his soon-to-be-married sister. I am about a third of the way through this book and it's pretty interesting so far. So far, I only have one small problem, but I think it might be worked out.
The last book I plan to read this month is Wanderlost by Jen Malone. This book follows Aubree Sadler as she goes to Europe to lead a bus tour of senior citizens through Europe. The only catch is she is pretending to be her sister and no one can know who she is. I originally became interested in this book because I thought the cover was pretty. I am about 50 pages into this and so far it has been interesting. I have laughed at a few of the things that have happened so far. I am very excited to see what happens in this book and if their plan works.
That is all I have for you guys today. This is my first post on this blog and I can't wait to see where this blog goes from here. If you want behind the scenes post and notifications of new post, feel free to follow me on Instagram! I will see you guys next time. Bye!
