Wanderlost by Jen Malone Book Review!!

Hey guys! It's Emma! Today, I have a book review on Wanderlost by Jen Malone. This book follows Aubree as she pretends to be her older sister, Elizabeth, and lead a senior citizen tour through Europe. From the beginning, she is stranded in Europe with no phone, no information binder, and the tour owner's mother as one of her passengers. Can Aubree pull off this tour without anyone knowing who she is? Or will she slip up with the owner's cute son and ruin everything?
First off, the characters in this book were amazing. The main character, Aubree, was so awkward it was adorable. The love interest of the novel, Sam, was 😍😍😍. In my opinion, he was very crush-worthy. All of the senior citizens on the trip were so well-developed. They each had memorable things about them that made it easy to connect with them and be pulled into the story. I found it funny because by the end of the book, the seniors were the ones that kind of pushed Aubree and Sam together.
Second, the plot of this story was so entertaining. Jen Malone did an amazing job of incorporating the setting in with fun adventures like The Sound of Music tour in Salzburg. I thought the adventures brought an interesting aspect to the book. The way Jen wrote those parts of the story made it feel like I was there with the characters. The plot of the story contained some twists and turns as well that kept me on the edge of my seat. Once I started this book, I found it hard to stop reading it.
Overall, I gave this book a 5 out of 5 stars. This story was a fun read that was the perfect summer read in my opinion. The characters were wonderful and the plot was exciting. I thought this book was an easy read to celebrate the beginning of summer with. I would definitely recommend this book if you want something that is light and fun.
That is all I have for you guys today. I'm sorry it is a day late. My computer kept freezing so I had to write this on my mom's computer. Anyways, comment below if you have read this book and what your thoughts were on it. I have another book review coming this week so get excited for that.
