January TBR!!!
Hey guys! It's Emma! Today I am writing about my January TBR. Since it is the start of a new year, I am super motivated to read a lot. Plus, I haven't met my Goodreads goal for the past two years and this year I'm determined to meet it. I think reading 35 books in a year is doable so I don't know why I can't seem to get there. Anyways, in the remaining weeks of January, I plan to read 3 books.
The first book I plan to read is Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe by Fannie Flagg. I don't know much about this book, but I want to go into it that way. This book is one I have to read for my American Literature class this semester so I'm sort of excited to read. I have heard good things about this from my friends that had the class last semester so I'm hoping I will like it.
The second book I plan to read is City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. This is actually a reread for me, but Emma from @emmmabooks on YouTube is doing a read along of all of Cassandra Clare's books this year. In my mind, this seemed like the perfect way to catch up on her books because I am so far behind that it's ridiculous. For example, I've only read her first two books in the Mortal Instruments Series so I'm hoping to fix that.
The third book I plan to read this month is Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco. I've heard so many good things about this on booktube that the minute I got I knew I had to read this immediately. This book seems right up my alley like it involves Jack the Ripper and forensics. Therefore, I'm pretty excited to read this. If you have read it, comment below and tell me what your thoughts on this book were.
That is all I have for you guys today. I hope you enjoyed this post. I find TBRs interesting because I'm nosy and like to know what people are reading. If there are any posts you guys want, let me know in the comments. I will talk to you guys later. Bye!
